our Hearts flutter To the Sound of Warmth

our Hearts flutter To the Sound of Warmth

A Story by Casey

It's cold. It's always cold in these mountains.
And for the first time I see you, you look beautiful standing there.
After you left, the mountains parted and so did my heart.
You were there, I was here.
I was waiting for you.
You were fighting for me.
We were in trouble.
You let a white dove in, as I sat there and waited for you.
You said it was a sign of good luck, which I had none of.
You were dreaming then
and as you let the dove go, so white, so radiant like a breeze coming through the windows of your profound heart,
I realized that I knew I was never going to see you again.
Our dreams collided, and the mountains began to stay cold forever.
