nightmare one

detailed nightmare of mine. always the same one also.

wrapping gifts, opening rewards.
the light from the moon is shaded tonight.
shading my brain, and tree's bend and break and river's run dry and tonight is the dream in which i will die.

my body goes numb, my tounge is slit, seizures run their course.
this water is as dry as my throat.
cold floor, and colder breath, no one in this house is knowing the best.
best solution for missing sleep.

i win you win. shells parade outside of the window.
twins. mine just died on the other side of the atlantic.
the tide ran through my body at the time.

This was a great poem...The way you grasped the dream was unreal....I could actually feel the pain you must of felt when you knew your twin has died....Graet write!
