Halt to the Fall

Halt to the Fall

A Poem by Matt
"

Poem about stuff

"

Where we were huh
The painful truth
Deep inside the tainting of youth
The game of blame

Man I hate this
We need to stop

To take stock
We need to erase the value of shock
it's time for change

A place for god

We hurt her like a rival

It's time we think about her
Learn with her as we break the cycle
Let her be her own person

Protect a smile from birth

 Give to her heart
Raise in her strength

Love each and every one like a daughter
Let her know holy intent
Let her heart be renewed

See her inherit wisdom

Watch her age
and pour it upon a blank and second page
Let her find today she is free
Make her glad she came

Let her feel loved and
Adored

Let her feel respected and
Admired

Make the time for her now

Once and for all
Today is the day
Halt to the fall

You write from a very familiar place, one relates to your art, that way the 2 I have read so far seem to hit home! Job well done here sir!
