Angels Play

Angels Play

A Poem by Matt

New gratification

Angels play

Taste pain in displacement

Rain is disgraced

Love is outrageous

We are the different

We are the power

This is the moment

Trash cold grip as sour

Flowers bloom in the rain

Powers soothing the pain

Now is the day

Hours count as we sway

I love her like a dawn to a new day

You mourn for the cost

For all that it was

Love now is more than you've lost

The promise of today

I like this, though I sense a deep sadness in it. The promise of today is lost when love is lost. Nicely written.
