silly

silly

A Poem by Blackstone Featherfall

silly, i get you
no need for words
wouldn't want you hurting anyone
we're too young for that

silly, i get you
dry off your bad mood
try on some new tunes
would i lie to you?

silly, i'm there in that
cave you are in
it is wide
keep excitement quiet
it will be a better arrival
when our lights
converge

gotta clasp our hands
over our mouths
swallow back
little creatures
barreling out

they want to explode!
do we say no?
i think so
needs time to grow

silly, i get you
so hold on to that
silly, i'm silly too
you should know that
sill we are
silly we can't be
now that we lie under a lamp
