teeter-totter

teeter-totter

A Poem by Blackstone Featherfall

sometimes i am unsure
i am in the forest
where is the water fall?

sometimes i see straight
i am on the ocean
where is my sunset?

could i blame the skipping record
on a broken needle
or some easy dust?
sometimes i hope you get this
i am mist floatin'
where is your face in the clouds?

sometimes i hope you do not
i am just growin'
where is your disconnection?
should i blame the dust on
an emptied house
or a vacation?
sometimes i want to dance with you
sometimes i want to leave the room
what do you ever want to do?
