Another poem written for the one who cheated...

Trust

 

I have become tired of this heartache

And I grow weary of this loss.

Always betrayed by those I have loved

Hurt by those I choose to trust.

Are you the one who will stand beside me;

Will you share your life as I share mine?

It may not be much but I give you my love.

My heart is yours, my faith, and my trust.

I pray that at the end we shall stand strong,

For you give me your love, yet I still hope to earn your trust.
