The Error of Comedys

The Error of Comedys

A Poem by carrotcruncher
"

Humorous look at my getting to grips with Shakespeare's colourful Language

"

“Forsooth, embittered thy thin kith way of rouse kingys”.

Thy hasn't a clue what thee William was speaking.

It's all a bit thee, thy and wherefore you see.

It's all very confusing for a bumpkin like me.

Sonnets and poems with stories and plots,

in a language from ole times that we have forgot.

But there’s one thing that William and thee do agree

there's nowt like an English pub for some ale afore tea.
