PerfectionA Poem by Carolyn_(V)iolence [<Revan>]yup
We lay by the pool,
The sun browns our skin, We read the same book, And sip chai you Not-so-secretly spiked With So-Co. Who needs the Hamptons? Or South Beach? Or St. Bart's? When a tiny overheated swimming pool, Buried in some over-populated condo complex In the middle of the Salt Lake valley, Is just as good, or possibly better? While I'm no perfection at all, And he's the definition of male perfection, I can't find a better word to describe This in-the-middle-of-June-hot-summer-Sunday but simply.... Perfection. © 2008 Carolyn_(V)iolence [<Revan>]
