Perfection

Perfection

A Poem by Carolyn_(V)iolence [<Revan>]
"

yup

"
We lay by the pool,
The sun browns our skin,
We read the same book,
And sip chai you
Not-so-secretly spiked
With So-Co.

Who needs the Hamptons?
Or South Beach?
Or St. Bart's?

When a tiny overheated swimming pool,
Buried in some over-populated condo complex
In the middle of the Salt Lake valley,
Is just as good, or possibly better?

While I'm no perfection at all,
And he's the definition of male perfection,
I can't find a better word to describe
This in-the-middle-of-June-hot-summer-Sunday
but simply....

Perfection.

This is nothing special. Just a little something I threw on a scrap of paper after a really good day. Hope you all like it :)
