Mmmmm, drunken-ness

The windows fog and
My common sense caves in.
Three strikes, I'm out.
I sit alone, in the darkness of your absence.
Today's my birthday, 
And I've never wished for death so sincerely.
Can leaving fix this?
Can I start over and not think of you?
None of you.
Happiness was too much to ask for,
Truthfulness and loyalty,
And meaning behind your words 
Took too much effort.
If you've all given up,
I think it's time I did the same.
Don't look for me.
I won't be coming home.

This poem was written after I fell for someone no worth falling for,
While heavily intoxicated :)
