Time tricks our minds and traps our bodies

Our bodies are planted on the ground 
In the present moment
Of now
While our minds skirt around 
The trap of time 
Tripping into the past 
Leapfrogging towards an uncertain future
Above the joy
Beneath the sorrow
Front to see
Back to feel
Never here
Never knowing in our thoughts
That place 
From where our bodies 
Cannot escape

Imo the past present and future
all run together in the mind.I like
the leapfrogging toward an uncertain

I don't think there are too many
absolutes to rely on other than death
and taxes and perhaps the bible according
to individual beliefs..
