It springs eternal

It springs eternal

A Poem by Caroline B A Maguire
"

9 days without hope in a mental hospital - then- the voice of a Saviour!

"
It was gone
Not my sanity
But my hope
I was sane enough to know I had nothing
My mind was bereft
My soul wept with the burden that I carried
My sin
Your sin
Their sin
The sin of the world
I am not Jesus only a girl who felt His pain
As He had felt mine
Could that be possible?
To suffer like Jesus
To suffer with Jesus
9 days I sat in the mental clinic
Day after day...nothing...none..hopeless
I was doomed... I believed that..there was no way
Then, I heard it...I heard His voice once more..
"Never give up"
What was that? A stirring in my broken heart...

Yes...it springs eternal...

It's the still small voice that gives us hope.
