sagebrush moonsA Poem by CarolinaBlu
sagebrush moons
“time as he grows old teaches many lessons.”
~ aeschylus (525-456 bc), greek soldier & playwright ~ so says the mother of mothers
as much as my tears bled throughout
squalor still refuses enough of a score disturbed
hunger pains of unanswered saulies prayed
stopped buoyantly hashing clenched teeth
crucifying
film scars refreshed
while appending doom congregates
but never ever kept among sagebrush moons
brine tears & sage shall clean out any ghost
so says the mother of mothers
bloodshot roadmaps led nowhere as i followed my gaze
to know, no reflections concentrates this late in time
yet the hours of darkness still sifted an alpenglow dawn
the cynosure of my once upon a time sacrosanct eyes
