A Christmastime poem

Christmastime brings the Gift of a Baby

Born in a manger of hay

If you choose to believe, this Gift you’ll receive,

No one will be turned away.

 

It matters not what paths you have trod

Wrong choices, mistakes or rebellion

Just ask Him today, yes, bow down and pray

He welcomes the scamp and the hellion!

 

Accept and Believe, Confess and Receive

It’s really that easy, you see;

Simple and True, and ‘tis offered to you!

God’s Gift to each heart, all for free!

 

God’s Hand is outstretched with this Gift of His Son

He waits just for us to decide

Trust and you’ll see, no regrets there will be

When with Christ we shall ever abide.
