Secrets

Secrets

A Poem by carnifex

 Humor and laughter.

The only two friends

That can shield

the frown

Inside.

Unwilling Understanding

And above all the

Laughing

That hide the pain of others

Can be cruel and

Dark.

It strengthens the lock

On the door of my mind

Refusing to weaken

Keeping my secrets

Muffled and

Suffocating

Begging to be

Freed.

Sharing is healing

Though the concept is pointless

When there's no one to share with

But you.

So true. Sharing is healing, but how can you if the circumstances are not right...so the pain carries on driving one nearer insanity. Only one key can unlock it all and it is the other person. Such a deep write. I love this. Thanks for sharing.

WOW, this is an awesome piece. Behind some of the funniest humorist lies much pain, and hidden heartache. Very well described. Thank you so much for sharing this piece.

sounds like this person is afraid to be themselves because what people might think funny thing is thats a thought that crosses everybodys mind somethings the only place you can really see a persons true colors is in the saftey of there own room...Great Write!
