Boundless

Boundless

A Poem by CL
"

This is basically my form of an explanation, i was writing as if i was explaining to someone why me and the guy i was once with ended so abruptly.

"

Boundless

Maybe he was wrong.

Maybe I was right.

Maybe it was already done,

even before the fight.

Either way; It’s all I think about at night...

Maybe I’d been wrong before-

In all that hadn’t been shed by light.

Maybe I was too caught up in detail-

too contemplated on the fight.

Filling the void.

I was no longer me-

When I’d been so destroyed.

Decaying moral standard-

Reasons not yet provoked;

Moments not yet confronted-

Nor feelings evoked.

Spending countless moments-

in attempt to fix what wasn't broken.

Just so that I could forget,

which words been spoken.

Boundless-

my wings then opened;

Twas the path I’d chosen.
