this is NOT a love poemA Poem by Carlton Carr
He’s got
music in his fingers rhythm in his bones a sparkle in his eyes and hair that shines and when his hands hold me I feel swinging in my knees and singing in my heart his tongue it curls around me like a python in the dark but somewhere deep inside him is a place as hard as his abdominal muscles and my scared scarred heart and in the centre of his soul is a field of broken stones from the hearts that he’s broken and the lies that he’s spoken and the love that he’s frozen with his cruel cold heart © 2013 Carlton CarrFeatured Review
