When Death Arrives for Me

When Death Arrives for Me

A Poem by Carlos Salinas

When Death Arrives For Me

When Death arrives for me,
I will be calm, still,
No fear, as I will cease to be;

I worry for my family,
It will hurt them more,
When Death finally arrives for me;

I do not have regrets,
All I did in life,
Was with gratitude and intent;

I had love and it left,
But it was worthwhile,
It was a temporary gift;

When Death arrives for me,
I will be calm, still,
No fear, as I will cease to be.

About
I want my writing to inspire people to do good deeds, love one another, and never give up hope. I want my readers to finish each story or poem wanting more. There are already many negative forces and .. more..
