Mother

Mother

A Poem by Carlo

A mother is what made sure I was kept alilve

A mother is the one who was always by my side

A mother who never told me a lie

A mother who never wants to see me cry

A mother who could've left me in the cold to die

A mother who would nuture me whenever I would fall

A mother who won't give up on her dream of seeing me turn into a strong wall

A mother who could've gave me away just to have it all

A mother who holds me tight in her arms

A mother who shrieks at the sight of me being harmed

A mother who always wants to see me grow

Into a man like no one will ever know

A mother who can still see me as her pride and joy

Even though I'm the exact opposite, but in her eyes I'm still her baby boy.

Wisdom in your words. A mother love grow with each moment she hold her new baby. I like the story and flow of your words. Poem was a pleasure to read. Mother's love is permanent and we need to show them we appreciate.
