The optimistA Poem by dare to fall?A woman who is abused by her husband every time he is drunk. She loves him so deeply still, and only hopes for a better tomorow for her and her daughter.she sits at home, with terror in her eyes while hes out drinking with the guys he stumbles in late, throws down his keys she sees him in terror, he throws her down to her knees one slap across the face now she gets up; its a race she aims for the door but somehow she is now on the floor she's there yelling out terror cries "Stop yelling you b***h!" he replies in that instant he marches to the kitchen she heads for the stairs on a mission he opens another beer she calls the cops out of fear
he hears the call and races for the door again in that next instant his fists are covered in blood as she leaves with her daughter they hear a thud the door swings open and their lies his body moping “he’ll sober up in the morning” as she kisses her daughters head She closed the door and looks up instead Thanks God for her baby And that her husband lay be
