New Moon Balad (When Edward leaves Bella)

This is a Ballad on the scene where Edward leaves Bella. Make note when reading that it is in Bella's perspective. *I do not own the characters used in this.

 There is a dagger through my heart

A hole filled with darkness that will not start

I wish Jasper killed me that night

So I would not be able to feel pain

Edward tell him to come back here

And drink the blood racing through my blue vein

 

I need you more than you will ever know

Why did you let our love go?

We have been through so much more already

Now you have made my life heavy

 

I am on a hunt for Edward

Right or not I will keep moving forward

And when I find him he will see

That he is still deeply in love with me

 

I refuse to let him leave me

So I call his name uncontrollably

Standing in the forest alone

I have lost my path and cannot get home

 

Darkness creeps upon this forest

With the wind making it seem the coldest

The torture I am feeling now

Makes reverence to the raw wind somehow

 

Wind is vacant, hollow and dry

Just like the cold feeling I share inside

There is a possibility

That I have now gone completely crazy

 

Before he left he asked of me

To always be safe for him and Charlie

Therefore Edward’s promise must lack

Just so my insanity brings him back

Nice job rhyming(sp?)!!!!!! In love with the Twilight Saga? Don't worry, many are, so you're not exactly alone. And writers usually don't hate Twilight. At least, I don't think they do... ... ... ... I certainly don't hate it, although I don't particularly like it either. New Moon is basically my favorite book out of the series (I've read all of them), because of the unexpected twist Meyer put in the beginning of the book: Edward leaves. That intrigues me because I'm wondering what Bella would do in her complete sadness.

I love this poem. It expresses Bella's heartbreak completely. My suggestion is to work a little on the flow, but as for the rest, beautifully done.

Great job. Stephanie Meyer would be proud.
