Signs of Winter

Signs of Winter

A Poem by TeacherAtHeart
"

Just a feel good poem

"

Listen

To the hush as the snow falls gently
And to the
Sounds of children playing in their yards
Hear the
Crackling of the roaring fire
Oh
Just listen

Smell
The air fresh and crisp
Feel
The fire burning

And take in the painted Scenery
Of
A beautiful cold winter’s day

Oh
And there’s that lovely smell of hot cocoa
Just smell that pleasant aroma
You can almost
Taste
It
On your tastebuds

The snow cold and wet
And warm cocoa to warms the soul
Just taste

See
The fire brighten the room
Feel the warmth
From the burning glow

The snow out side white and fresh
And
The children building their snowman
Just look

Touch
The flakes cold as they hit your face

I feel warmed by
Your arms wrapping me up like a little bunny
You are my love and I am
Your little bunny

Listen to the fall of the snow

Smell Taste Touch See
That
Winter has arrived
So we will
Welcome
Thee

**edited with the help of a snowman.
