TransformationA Poem by Cari Lynn VaughnDedication to the spiritual journey
Transformation
This precious shirt This eternal soul I weave for you out of my pain Longing only for you to be whole I sit ever silent under the sun and rain
Days they pass by and still I weave The nettles sting and burn ever more But this task is one I refuse to leave To heal the wild swan that I so adore
Jealousy steals my precious ones away And I still remain dedicated to you Burning at the stake because I did betray Still I finish what I set out to do
As I wither and die at last you come along And save us both with your beautiful swan song Transformed now in your human form And I reborn after the spiritual firestorm
