Lusting after travel and love...

Wanderlust

 

Always hiking away from my home’s heart

Lusting for some new adventure

I desire     from this place      to depart

 

Walking and wondering what’s in store

I ponder poetry and passion particularly

Hungering then eternally for more

 

Looking to a master in order to learn

Valuing        books and beauty

The urge to explore does ache and burn

 

The distance dances before me so alluring

The open road and open heart calls to me

Holding on to a promise of something

                                                 more enduring
