I wish I never knew

I wish I never knew

A Poem by Elorac
"

Written late at night when I should have been sleeping but the words kept me up.

"

I wish I never knew

What it felt like to be loved by you.

So warm your gentle hands

On my cold back at our first dance.

Do you remember?

Last December?

When the world was white

And life was suddenly so bright?

Do you remember?

Last December?

When the world was white

And life was suddenly a fight?

Oh, I wish I never knew

What it felt like to be loved by you.

I remember when I fell for someone on our second date..when it started to snow and I kissed her in the snowflakes on the middle of Millennium bridge in London. So this is very poignant for me, thanks and well done :-)

This feels very familiar, like a song playing on a jukebox in some dimly lit bar somewhere. Great job on it!

It’s Always nice to get your feelings out with words. Heartbreak heals slowly, and I for one am still happy to have known what it is to love. We have an infinite capacity to love, there no such thing as ‘all your heart’. Keep writing!

This is so good. Absolutely adored it! I'm shocked to see that this doesn't have any feedback, cuz it's really good. Keep writing!
