Moments

Moments

A Poem by careyXcarnage

This poem is dedicated to all of the victims of human trafficking across the world. May all of them be remembered, loved, and honored for the suffering that they have stuck through in the hopes of finally going home. May that wish be fulfilled.

She sits in a dark crowded room,

Missing her Mother and clouded with thoughts,

Thoughts of those Moments.

The Moments when she was silenced,

The Moments she cried,

And Moments she tried to call out and got beaten.

When he told her not to speak,

Or it would be harder for her,

And the Moments he tied her up.

She was bound and helpless,

Sprawled across his bed,

And sedated.

As she nodded off,

He undresses her body,

And commences with the horrible act.

She wakes up in pain,

Knowing,

That in a few weeks,

It would happen again,

With someone else she doesn't know.

This is so true. You talk about things that no one else wants to think about. A good author touches reality often, a amataur runs a hand over her and a bad author starves her and leaves her for dead. You are a brillant writer

Very well written. May I direct you to find a person nam,ed Wildecat on here (tell him Q of K sent you) and read his poems. Some are funny and laughable others are quite serious.
