there is a door between me and you

i try to close it but you have no clue

you are my drug and i am the ultimate fiend

but now i think its time that i come clean

 

i don't want you

please go away

cant you see i don't want you anymore

please just let me close this door

 

you cant keep me anymore

please set me free

i don't want to flee like a thief

i just want to be out of this

 

i deserve better

i know i do and so do you

so let me go

if you ever cared

let me go find someplace so i can be repaired

 

okay so now im free

wait baby let me back in

please don't turn your back on me

This is a very vivid poem, I think a lot of people can empathise with that feeling of wanting to get away from that one guy and yet still wanting him there. It was a beautiful poem and I loved the imagery of the door, of wanting it closed but then not liking it when it is. A very powerful and emotive piece. Nice work!
