i lie to everyone because i'm scared

the immeasurable nature of my loneliness

how i just want what i could so easily have

but i will never get, will never get

i am afraid

i have just begun and i'm so, so

already done

already over the instability of who i am, what you made me

what you told me i am

how deeply i have believed you

how deeply i believe you

i am afraid, i want it to be over

i write the words so that they can fall out

so that they can leave me

but i am empty

it's as simple as being too scared to tell you 

why i don't want to go out tonight

so i lie to everyone

because i'm scared.

In spite of your feelings, the fact you've written and shared your fears, you are immensely brave, Cara. To admit to such wretchedness takes enormous courage. Please accept that, please - stop lying and fearing and - live to the extreme will you obviously have. Your poem could help not only yourself but others.. be proud of that, dear lady.
