MotorcycleA Poem by Anonymous 79Putting everything I feel on a motorcycle into words.
You're close enough to touch the whole world.
If you reach up, you can touch the sky
And you can touch the trees on either side
Taste the wind as it goes rushing by
Fields of grass, growing trees,
Freshly tilled dirt and burning leaves
You can hear all of the tires on the street
Cool air wraps around your arms, the sun warms your back
Who knew the climbing speedometer could thrill you like that?
On the streets, you can feel every bump and crack
The motorcycle's rumbling purr
As the world rushes by, you're more than just a girl
