Maya (The Spring)

Maya (The Spring)

A Poem by Pseudonym Mindless
"

A short poem, inspired by a lovely girl I call niece who always has a knack for bringing out joy.

"

The snow fell away.

Brooks babbled and bubbled, chatting

Amiably. Spring brought youth,

Joy, Happiness, Rebirth after death.

She danced with the new light,

Soaking the Earth with the bright.

All the while we forgot, soon

The World will turn Dark-

Sadness, Grief, the milky Black-

All will return in time.

This is both a happy and sad poem, and I love how you made it work. It's full of nostalgia, and euphoria, and sadness, and joy, and idk, I just really like it. Congrats :) Great last line!
