A Poem by AO_Fulcrum

In the silence of her recluse
She is deafened by the screech of madness

In the stillness of her withdrawal
She is blasted by the abrading tempest

In the shadows of her self-exile
She is blinded by the merciless light

In the naive of her escape
She is tousled by the twisted labyrinth

..breathe
..

Forbearing and serene
She yields to none

She has submitted to her unequivocal wander
Drawn by
yarnings of cultivated fish tales

She quest to the nucleus of their meaning
In hopes to uncover a veiled principle

Daunted by the delicate fabric of the vail
Lifted only by worthy of her willing soul

" Drawn by yarnings of cultivated fish tales" This line sits well with me, it adds this element of longing imo. But I don't know what to make of it, actually!
Should this be yearnings? Or was it meant to be yarnings? And what are fish tales?

Also I like the use of italics, elipsis, and regular font. The shift in tone and the way it moves away from being trapped "In the X" to She does this, she does that, gives those stanzas more energy
