Little Black Cloud

Little Black Cloud

A Poem by captain93

My thoughts have formed a storm cloud about my head

Raging dark and ominous, my mind consumed with dread

All around me happiness rains down yellow, green, and red

But my cloud filters them through as thoughts of hate instead

I often wish my cloud would just strike me dead.

But Those around me, through the rain, see only cheer

Not the tired young soul possessed by fear

Thoughts, of the future, rain down and cause my skin to sear

I began to reject love and turn from those i hold dear

Losing faith i wonder, will this weather ever clear?
