Why do you put me through this pain just to look at me the same?

I trusted you with all my heart.

Then you took it and threw it away.

I just wanted to be your friend and help you out.

But I guess you can do without.

You seemed so nice at first.

But then others came around and you changed.

When we are alone together we are best friends.

But when others come around we are the worst of enemies.

Did I do something wrong?

Are you mad at me?​

You keep telling me that the others mean nothing.

But your actions say otherwise.

You said you loved me, but I think it’s a lie.

There is always someone else who replaces me.

As time goes by, you no longer speak to me.

I always sit by the phone just in case you call.

But you never do.

I hope they are as special as I think.

Cause I no longer matter to you.

I’ve been there through all your pain and suffering.

Where were they then?

Where did they go when you were really sick and could hardly breathe?

They were never around when you cried.

They always laughed when you fell.

So why is it them over me?

Why do you choose the ones who never cared?

Why do you put me through all this pain just to look at me the same?
