Do i scare you? - chapter 1

The introduction

“Do i scare you?” James asked, not lifting his gaze from the floor. His councillor was taken aback, the shock of hearing the young boy speak had completely knocked him of guard.

“No .. No.. Of course not james” He replied , his eyes now fixed on the small boy infront of him.

“Are you sure of that?” James leant forward as if to stand up , his fingers tightly gripping the edge of the chair.  “I think your  terrified of me, just like everyone else, i think your scared  of every move i make” He leant back, and a small grin played across his face. “Infact i kno your scared”

A sharp piercing bell rang through the room.

“Times up.” James said as he got to his feet.  His councillor watched him leave in disbelief , not all to sure of what had just happend in the room. James, was a boy deemed mute , aggressive and highly intelligent. And ben his councillor was indeed terrified of him.

The door slammed as the young boy left his office, leaving Ben alone to replay the past few minutes.

“He spoke” he muttered to himself , and then shook his head and dismissed it. His hands where shaking slightly , the whole episode with the young lad had completely un-nerved him.
