WW2 what have you done

WW2 what have you done

A Chapter by Ama May Cooper

Dear WW2

I find it almost humours that you yourself came about because of the hatred and ideals of one man,a man who wasn't even a picture image of what he was trying to create. Many have in ways called him a psycho and yet you were his creation , you were the slaughtering of a million innocent lives, the cause of concentration camps. Of bomb scares and deaths. Your existence was simply a misery to all around you but i suppose you had your benefits, you rooted out that good for nothing dictator and shredded him for all he was worth, buried him beneath the soil along with the blood and sweat of a million other soldiers that walked the ground. And then as if to make amends for your destruction you sprouted poppy seeds among the dead and tattered, you spread them all along the ground as if you wept with those your ways had destroyed and you parted with that final image.. a filed of red poppies , you parted and you let all the anger go.
