Poem - Life isA Chapter by Ama May CooperWritten at 12 years old
Life is a knife
constantly stabbing your heart
covering you in blood drenched in guilt filling you with endless suffering bringing tears to your eyes and only making it better by stopping the clock Life is a cage trapping you forever filling you with endless suffering and then the door opens and you fall stumbling like a new born babe once sweet and dealicate now cursed with living its life Life is a leaf Blown swiftly by the wind drifting too high spring beginning to stretch its ill fortuned wings then it begins to wither as autum batters it toward the ground only life is just beginning as the cold snow engulfs it. Life is a storm cloud clouding our judgement and chocking into dark but lined with death not a gold line but a dark voidless line © 2010 Ama May CooperReviews
