Tearing apart the phrases

Alright this is run on suggestions, you give me common phrases and ill explore most likely tear them aparat but what the hey

They say the pen is far mighter than the sword, but im yet to see a person lieing on the floor blood pouring from there body due to the woundings of a pen, im yet to see people fleeing in adment fear declaring. "He has a pen , he has a pen".

I understand the meaning well enough, the fact that written word can teach generations what a hearless murder cannot, but im just not sure mighter is perhaps the right use of terminolgoy for the phrase.In comparison the time mighter meaning stronger so by that thought they are declaring that in a fight to the death you'd be better off with a pen . I think not. Just me?

Then again how many of our so called phrases are actually bullshit, lets think this thru Silence is golden, only if you have no opinon and want to seem to fit in with everyone else's silence, i mean come on now if everyone was silent then we'd surely still be living in the stone age. But we wudent of even got to the communication stage ,screw the grunting and obsecene noises, there distrupting a golden time we call silence.

Oh oh and another one, patience is a virtue. In what f*****g sence is patience a virtue. I can falter that one with another common phrase one that actually does make some form of sense. Time waits for no man,now that is true. Eventually its evitable that we all going to rot in the ground, we cant make time wait until we want to die it will just happen. Clocks dont stop ticking, well unless there battery powered and the battery runs out but you get what im saying, time itself is a constant it dosent pause and play the patience game willy nilly. So now if time waits for no man, and where sitting around all the time being patient, i t hink you'll find where wasting alot of  time that we will never get back. Patience is no virute, time waits for no man so why the hell wud we want to sit around twiddling our thumbs waiting for time to slowly dwidle away until were left with our final hour and were still waiting for something or other, most proberly death itself.

And then there's the ladi-da folks among us that will defend this one. Love im afriad never has and never will conqer all. If you love someone you cannot guarentee they will love you back, you cannot destroy there emotional feelings to make them , it just wont work. If you cheat on someone, hurt them, kill them im pretty sure the fact that you love them wont get you to far, perhaps on some occasions you can weave your words and get out of it but dont be thinking they will trust you quite as much as they did before. Love is a constant in a way but after abuse and battering it tends to begin to fade unless it truley is a strong love, but then its still not going to be much help if the person you love has absoulutly no intrest in you , you'll just end up some strange stalker following them home and watching them sleep, then you'll get arrested and sent to jail. Fat lot of good your loves gonna do you in there, unless its developed the power to melt bars.

 Love springs eternal.
Love is never eternal. Perhaps my own morbid twisted belief, from the fact that the person i loved has torn me to pieces and shreds and made me a rather sick minded indavidual when it comes to the dealings of the heart which im sure you can tell from my pieces on love. Mabye thats just cause im hurting alot, but the point is love springs for eternity then how can people fall out of love, how can people be left wondering where things went wrong. If it was for eternity there would be no end, to the feeling , no heartbreak would be uneven. People would as grow old together in happiness.

Kind of like, keep your friends close, but your enemies closer.
This has many meanings some that make sense some that dont the basic being. You keep people who hate you and want you dead near you they will kill you its that simple. But on the other hand, it shows a very deep understand that those we belive are friends , drift into dangerous territory when allowed to ge tot close, to attached. We are in most danger when we assume we are safe, false saftey is a killer. Have you never been inlove with someone to find later down the line they are demolishing everything about you. Then you could look at it on the front that its meant despite how its read being that, you can watch those that hate you easier when you keep them within view, but what happens when your seen spotted, and they dont like it and you friends happen to be further away .. they cant save you so your up agasint the fight on your own.

Diamonds are forever.
There is no such thing as forever. Forever is only for aslong as you want it, you will eventually scratch or dirty this gem and throw it away nolonger wanting it, or even hand it to someoen else. Nothing is constant. Love is also forever but what one person deems as forever is not the same. Forever cannot be obtained because our life spans dont even extent that far.

We have nothing to fear, but fear itself.
I laugh at this foolish statment. If fear was all we had to fear we could not be hurt , maimed , murdered , raped. Because only fear itself could scare us. Fear is after all a reaction to somethign that will damage us, and i suppose saying it, mabye it does it make sense. Our bodies create fear, as a defence to our surroundings so we are aware of our imenent danger. If it is the warning signal mabye then fear is the only thing to fear because without it we are safe. If that makes sense.

Make me some more suggestions of other phrases and we'll see just how far this can go.
Give me imposssible fact points that cant realy be broken , and those ridiculuts phrases parents tell there children so they'll sleep at night or be good.
