paint your own relatiy for sanity

paint your own relatiy for sanity

A Poem by Ama May Cooper

take a dream

make it real

paint it over realtiy

hide the  truth

 before your eyes

to save  your own sanity

fill your mind with idle lies

just play amongst

your fantasy

the truth wont change

hidden and clouded it will stay

but thats just reality

mentally your far from the world

pain bobbing at the surface

callng for your sanity

but turn away , just dont look forward

look straight into your mind

*take a dream and make it real paint it over relatiy

hide hte pain befor eyour eyes bury your own sanity

This poem seems to be quite meaningful, actually. Also, it flows and rhymes better than some poetry. There are also, only a few spelling errors (despite the poet's writing problem). It reminded me of Cappi's other piece, concerning the nature of reality. However, this one also considers our perception of truth.....

Very very good. I like it a lot.
Just one thing you might want to fix is the last line.
"hide hte pain befor eyour eyes"
Just those two typos and other than that the poem is great!
