A question brought into my mind

"

We live in a realtiy or a reality as we kno it. Whether that is indeed a real reality is one that ive never quite been able to accept. True it all seems real we can feel the reality and hold onto things and everything is tangible. But what if its all somewhat imprinted into our minds, like a computer game. Do the sims played with on many childrens games feel the same, do they have a sort of concious thought like our own but we are controlling them making them do things.. we create them. What if our reality is simply a copy of that , what if me writing this and thinking this is actually just what someone else wants me ot think. How can i hoenstly be aware of the reality we live in ..when there is  chance it isnt evne real?..

Or  mabye the dreams we have our actually the reality , but they fade or we ont remeber them whihc makes me think otherwise.. unless were not meant to, mabye at the end of a dream we die and we are born again for the next one so we dont always remeber our past lives. mabye thats what dreams are past lives that sometimes we have faint traces of. Perhaps indeed we are living in heaven now, this could indeed be the after life that we are sitting in mabye this is a waiting area. Waiting until they find another body for us to be, or a transition stage a constant waiting room of sorts until our next life is ready. LIke a contiouns recreation system that we cant actually stop, a hopeless loop of dream after dream. But then surely its  shame to think we dont always remeber our life but a shame tha tcould quite easily be reality

Mabye somethng as simple as de  ja vou is a fault in this fake reality when data is accidently re-run or reapted thru computer error or mistake. Mabye its something being replayed or re-watched like a movie like oru life can be paused and reset to any given point and snapped back to the point later at any moment. Like we see a glimpse of the rewind button or where it rewinded to, but not being in control of the rewining itself we simply repeate the occurance and then the button is pressed and we are back to the current time.  Without actual awareness of chaning our position in time.

Time a relative thing yet again.. but who decided what time actually was, who laid down a clock and thougth this is how our time will tick. Obviously only us as humans follows this hour snad minutes time. There is the natural time of the sun rise and the sun set, but what akes that a day that cud be a week. We have no actual way of knowing what the time is only knowing what our concept of time is . but this concep this need to have some order in a world we dont understand. Does that perhaps come from a deeper sense in us letting us kno we have no actual order and just exist in a world we will never be able to quite control.  Our need to find answeres that seem to generate more questions like the why are we here.. is it not possible we are indeed here in the exact same way sims are on our screen because someone crafted us. But alike that the whole god theory comes in if such a great being to have created a whole planet exists what created them/it/him or her.. they cannot simply exist nothing can exist without a cause.

Altho the whole nothing existing without a cause is our logic, whihc could well be imprinted. Mabye logic dosent actually exist but is osmething put in place to stop us discovering reality , the real reality that is . Or logic is our a creation to stop us from becoming gods liek those who placed it there . the discussion is endless and so is the thought you cant quite place where our reality begins or if anything we see before us is not something we ourselves even conjour up. Mabye we imagine the world, and the reason science can only go so far is because it can only discover what we already kno because it cant answer question that we cant because we imangine the world we are in. And in our minds, what we know is all we know and if this world is indeed a figment of our imagination it can only teh creations of what we know to be true.

Your ideas flow with delicious abandon and yet you deal with some profound and mind-bending matters... What, indeed, is appearance and what is reality? Is my reality here more real than my reality where I physicaly sit. I don't know... but I try to enjoy both and make my reality real for me.

Philosophers and others have been vexed by the true nature of reality, for thousands of years. More recently, the science fiction writer, Philip K. Dick, wrote many short stories and novels, many of which considered this question.

Some of your lines, are particularly true. "Nothing can exist without a cause", "time is a relative thing" and the concept of "fake reality" as the writer expresses it. What do the rest of you think about this topic, fellow Group members?

Clearly, the mere idea of our reality not being real, is a terrifying one. Also, as the writer has suggested, comparisons can be made, between artificial intelligence and the human mind. Good writing, Cappi! Very thought-provoking, despite the grammar problems.
