To love forever

..just something i wrote

I dont want to feel this way

not anymore

not when words fall on deaf ears

but i do, i love you

and when i said forever

oh how i meant it

i wish like you i spoke a lie

but i didnt

my heart cries out for your soft touch

to linger in your arms

to with you 1000 years

this pain is more than too much to take

you have my heart

you have my soul

and it was those that you did break

its been so long

since you where mine

6 months but it feels longer still

i love the way you looked at me

the way you stroked my cheek

but all those lies that i belived

the times you said you loved me

you never did, you never would

you where just passing time

you stopped and stepped of my train

but my journey went on and never stopped

beacuse the tears that wet the page

i scrawl these words upon

i scrawl for you

for you still own that special part of me

your name etched into my mind

this pain forever now

i love you

i love you  and always will

I liked this piece. It speaks truth, although I hope that the pain of a loss like this will fade with time; I know that a love like this will never truly die, it will remain buried in the deepest oasis the heart. I like the way the emotion is expressed. I don't think it is blurted out at all. More like crying out. Great work! And Keep it up.

well, it blurts out a very strong emotion...it is difficult to be subtle with raw emotion whether pain or love or loss or betrayal. you will revisit this theme as you distance yourself from the event. as you do you will write it out another way...instead of complaint the emotion will "inform" or influence your words so that they are less direct and more beautiful. With that said...at times we just need to blurt it out to purge our insides of the feeling....

It is a good poem.
