Have you ever stood beneath the stars?A Poem by Ama May CooperDo you ever feel like your just treading water Waiting for the rip tide to carry you away pedalling endlessly, tiring slowly wondering why your even waiting? Do you ever get lost in familiar places startled by perfectly common surroundings Wondering , lost in a world that never felt like home? Does it ever feel like your lungs are collapsing your very organs twisting and turning to be rid of you Just a bewildered child Stranded in a world you'd never understood? Lie with me a while And stare upon the great amass of sky i used to call home Imagine for a second that suddenly a million lives past were revealed to you Your souls very nature spilled out spinning light years and light years away Wouldn't your heart shatter into a million pieces A confliction of deep sorrow immense joy flowing through your very soul A deep realisation of just how far away from home you actually resided A seed planted to learn in lower frequencies? Hold my hand and tell me Have you ever felt the very organs in your body vibrate your very nerve endings drowning in panicked electrical impulses Each screaming for attention? Have you ever looked at the stars Dreaming of the moment something brilliant would start Listening tentatively to the midnight whispers on the wind Have you ever heard the moon howling out for your return? Your glare condems me a madman Cast into the shadows like a curse for unasked vision Wandering through the nightmares of this distorted reality Telepathically pleading with source to just go home Have you ever felt true safety be ripped from beneath your feet The beginning of acceptance of a whole dimension based on shattering aquatences? Were you ever sure that everything you knew was right To have the truth distort even your very dreams?
