We'd be gone in a blink of an eye

We'd be gone in a blink of an eye

A Poem by Ama May Cooper

And if the stars would but realign,
We'd be home in next to no time,
We'd fly away far away from here,
and be uplifted by outer-dimensional cheer.

Oh if the earth would shift its very soul
the guardians would guide us home
We'd shed these earthly bodies
We'd discard these mortal lives

And if they called us home
We'd leave with no hesitation
The cosmos would be our playground
Nothing would bind us here

Oh if the air would be rearrange
If only the lines would begin to fade
we'd grow wings and soar the galaxies
nothing could make us return

But the stars stay set in there ways
The earth is yet to shift its soul
And they are yet to yell for us to come home
were still yet waiting for this sign
