Her shoulder blades were sore and achy from where she had shed her wings on landing. It seemed the very air here was toxic to her angelic form, tearing it away painfully and brutely from the very moment she entered the atmosphere. She sat down slowly and carefully trying to find comfort on a ground that was unnaturally solid beneath her feet.

"What happend?" Where am I?" she muttered to herself. 

She glanced upwards, hopefully of some form of explanation or understanding of the strange realm she had been plunged into. In the distance a bright pulsating light was sinking slowly behind a green expanse of land that pointed towards the sky taking with it the light it had cast over the world.

"This is time. Earth. Ive heard tales of it in my childhood, a world were the passing of time is represented by a constant changing of the elements even the sea responds to her call." she thought and began to weep as she remembered the rest of the stories of this land
