Save me your protocolA Poem by Ama May CooperTime dosen't move or etch the way to healing Time dosen't exist Its a name, a label A pitiful human attempt of understanding Another pointless word that cannot begin to amount the complexity of it all
A word spoken dosen't mend a thousand wounds It just imbeds it within the soul confirms and fuels its power A word merely hopes to explain the echo of silenced torture
Offer me no more listening ears No amass of hours will soothe the fires ill never face Empires will come and die Before ill bare these smoldering embers to another soul
Probe no further with your pretentious phrases To speak of the worries will not mend my soul Save me the regurgitated memories Allow me the very slither of pride that yet remains
Let me walk these desolate lands alone Let no other restore my title to this carnage but myself I would drown with this ship rather than swim with a lie These many scratches within my armour, were put here by your very own blades
Save me your falsely allocated sympathy Bestow upon me none of your illogical wisdom You are an unwelcome invader in my mind These wars are mine to conquer
Drowning under the emotional hurricane I wont reach for your traitorous hand Ill push you away , ill run away I wont falter through my weakness
Cracks shatter into little pieces A million unwanted opinons fall dead on my ears I will hear no more, I will request no assitance Arms outstreched embracing the fading of reality
