Chapter 1 - Graduation

James and Leonidus best friends throughout school have some interest news to find out at there graduation story.

Leonidus had spent everyday of his life at Marigate boarding school for gifted children. It was a rather nice school, a decent size with plush little rooms for each student. A normal school, or so Leonidus had thought.

"Oi Leo come on, you can't be late for graduation or they'll never let you outta this place" James called to him from down the corridor laughing to himself.

Leonidus quickened his step and fell in beside his mate as they trotted along.

"I dont get all the fuss about graduation anyway. We already know we passed, what's the point?" Leonidus grumbled 

"Your such a sour grape mate." James thumped him hard on the shoulder making him wince a little.

Soon the corridor began to teem with students, eagerly charging toward the main hall for there graduation dinner and celebrations. Leonidus and his friend were soon separated within the crowd, struggling to pin point each other amongst the sea of faces.

Leonidus ducked through the herd and made his way to the front with great effort, hoping to bump into James before they were all seated into there form classes for there headmasters speech. 

"Students, Students ... Settle down now" The coarse voice of the headmaster rang through the halls. And almost as if controlled all the children move swiftly and calmly to there designated seats.

"Thank you everybody. Now im very glad to announce that you have all sucessfully completed your education here at Marigate boarding school and am proud to say that every single one of you passed"

A loud cheer echoed through the hall. And conversations began to spring out of the woodworks. The headmaster merely sighed and clapped his hands in irritation once again bringing silence to the room.

"Now if we can refrain from conversing until ive fhinshed speaking that would be lovely. Anyway this year we have chose quite alot of students to go to Marigate University, there will be  entrance exams for the lucky few and those will start in a matter of hours. Those that have been chosen have an envelop infront of them, these envelopes contain your invitations to those exams. Now with all that out of the way let the party begin"

The headmaster exited , leaving way for trays and trays of food and beverages to be brought in to feed the excited students. Chatter graced the grand banquet hall and gave a lively and friendly vibe to the place.

Leonidus made other to James table clutching a white envelope tightly between his fingers. 

"James?... I got in." Leonidus stuttered

"Really, that's bloody brilliant were going to go to uni together!" James smacked him on the back again

"But wait.. neither of us applied, how can we be selected when we never filled any forms out or anything"

"Maybe were just that bloody brilliant" James stood and did a proud stance on the chair before a teacher came round and clipped his ear.

"Ouch miss... Jesus you could of just told me to sit down"

Leonidus seemed oblivious to this, still dumbfounded by the letter clutched in his hand.

"James i didn't apply. I dont understand this , how can i have got into something that i never applied for"

James glanced at his buddy, he was always so stressed out by every little thing.

 "Why are you bugging out? Its fine"

Leonidus shook his head.

"Yeah fine.... I dunno I just get a weird feeling about all this"
