A watery graveA Poem by Ama May CooperThe waters are murky but inviting, a common friend .. a delicate and cautious dip in the cooling depths. Floating endlessly on a stream drifting un-noticed past the waters edge. Taken on a journey willingly unaware of the waiting demons, the captivating .. desperation for a difference sending you down the watery path. I lay there embracing such a gentle soul, carrying me away from tortured thoughts , possesing me with soft restraints. Perhaps I merely floated too far carried away on endless streams to a lost spot in discarded seas. Stranded in the thoughts of a lunatic, confied to the asylum of tormented mind. Maybe i drowned somewhere beneath the thoughts in the lakes of the forgotten. Drowned by my own minds eye. Taken in all my glory to a death by my own hand © 2012 Ama May CooperReviews
