DOUBLE BURDEN'S DANCE

DOUBLE BURDEN'S DANCE

A Poem by Mirabela-Denisa Căpîlna
"

"Double Burden's Dance" portrays a mother balancing work and family, capturing her struggles, love, and resilience as she navigates both worlds.

"

In dawn's embrace, a weary sigh,
Two burdens borne beneath the sky.
A mother's love, a worker's might,
Two worlds collide in endless night.

The morning rush, a frantic dance,
Between career and child's first glance.
A balancing act, a juggling feat,
With tired eyes and racing feet.

The boardroom's call, the baby's cry,
Two symphonies in harmony's lie.
A constant tug, a constant strain,
On heart and mind, a bittersweet pain.

The double burden, heavy and deep,
Yet strength within, a spirit to keep.
A mother's touch, a worker's hand,
A tapestry woven across the land.

In stolen moments, solace sought,
In quiet breaths, a battle fought.
For in the depths, a resilience lies,
A mother's heart, that never dies.

With every step, with every stride,
I find the strength to turn the tide.
For I am both, and I am whole,
A mother's love, a driven soul.

Life is a jigsaw, made from a thousand and one pieces that somehow need to fit - often impossible when pieces are lost or misplaced. How clearly you infer that.. to me, at least.

Your poem has such fine struture and harmonic words.. a lesson given, its inspiration spread. Having read your bio and then your poem, you have introduced a glimpse of poet YOU. Thank you so much for sharing. Enjoy your time in the Cafe, capilnamirabela
