Eluding Yourself

Eluding Yourself

A Poem by nevershoutnever.

Happiness is

like a butterfly.

The more you try

to chase it down,

the more it will

be afraid and try

to elude you.

If you turn

your attention

to other things,

it will come

and sit

softly

on your shoulder.
