Playing Games

Playing Games

A Poem by nevershoutnever.
"

True love is one that hurts.

"

You played a game

with guns and war.

You shot me down,

and left me there

hurt and dead.

I cried away

most of the pain,

but more comes back,

not again.

My fingers go numb,

I cannot see.

My eyes are shut

so tightly.

Do i want

to see the light,

see the scars

from all the fights?

I stepped out,

I'm out of bounds.

Just walk away

with one last escape.
