Unfaithful

Unfaithful

A Poem by John S

My faith drips from a stone

every drop so naive and fragile

but conscientiously they fall

some land like blood to the cross

seeping into the wood

trying to pull truth from lies

others land in a bottle

waiting to be spilled to reason

but most fall into an ocean

formed from the tears of a million stones

the power of a universe

of unanswered questions
